Escola Consol Ferré, in Amposta, joined the network in 2018-2019, after the project was presented at the Tarragonès teacher resource centre.
It is the farthest school of them all: from Amposta, in the Montsià, it takes more than an hour to reach La Mora beach. They went anyway, with their pupils, to the Guardian Schools gathering of May 2019.

Joining the network
After the project was presented at the Tarragonès teacher resource centre, the school joins the Amazon Guardian Schools Network, together with Guillem de Claramunt and La Vitxeta.

A session with the pupils in the school gym: the history of the Puyanawa people, photographs of the village and the story.

The gathering at La Mora beach
The school takes part in the Guardian Schools gathering with Puwê and Vari Puyanawa, together with La Canaleta, Guillem de Claramunt and La Vitxeta: a walk through the woods collecting litter, dances, the handover of the letters with the Puyanawa school and a virtual reality experience of the village.
