Supporting EiAmazonia means becoming part of an educational network of horizontal cooperation between Spain and the Amazon.
Your contribution supports both the projects carried out together with Indigenous schools and communities in the Amazon and our work in Catalonia: workshops, educational resources, school exchanges and awareness-raising activities on interculturality, global citizenship, collective rights and climate justice.
EiAmazonia is the educational platform run by the «Associació Guardians de l’Amazònia».

Your support connects Spain and the Amazon
In Spain, we run workshops, teaching resources, training, school exchanges and educational activities to explore interculturality, global citizenship, cultural diversity and climate justice.
In the Amazon, we develop projects together with Indigenous schools, organisations and communities, in line with their educational and community priorities. These projects include teacher training, teaching resources, connectivity, ethical technology and activities related to languages, memory, territory and biodiversity.
Monthly contributions allow us to keep this work going, coordinate activities and keep the educational network between both territories connected.
Other ways to take part in the Network
We coordinate a collaborative network between schools in Indigenous communities in the Amazon and schools in Catalonia and elsewhere in Spain.
Volunteers, organisations, institutions and supporters who wish to contribute to teacher training, school exchanges and the educational projects developed together with the participating communities can also get involved.
The Network started in Catalonia (Spain) and is open to primary and secondary schools in the United Kingdom, Ireland and any other country. Your school can take part through workshops, educational activities, teaching resources and exchanges with schools in Indigenous communities in the Amazon.
These activities make it possible to explore interculturality, the rights of Indigenous peoples, climate justice, languages, the relationship with the land and the ethical use of technology.
Participation can be adapted to each school through one-off activities, video calls, school exchanges or a longer-term involvement in the project.
Indigenous communities can join the Network through their schools to strengthen their own educational processes and build exchange relationships with schools in Catalonia and elsewhere in Spain.
The collaboration may include training and support for teachers, the shared educational use of digital tools, the creation of the communities’ own teaching materials and activities related to language, memory, territory and environmental education.
This work is guided by the experience gained with the Escola Ixubãy Rabuī Puyanawa and the extension of the project to the Escola Estadual Rural Indígena Pedro Antônio de Oliveira, in the Nukini community, and is built around the priorities and decisions of each community.
You can support the Escola Intercultural Amazònia (Amazonia Intercultural School) by sharing your knowledge or experience, depending on the project’s needs and how much you are able to take part.
Volunteering can cover areas such as education, communication, translation, design, technology, creating teaching materials and supporting educational activities and exchanges.
Each offer is assessed according to the needs identified, the nature of the collaboration and respect for the priorities of the participating communities and schools.
Local councils, social organisations, universities and other institutions can partner with the School to promote educational and cooperation initiatives.
These partnerships may include organising workshops, awareness-raising activities, school exchanges and other initiatives related to intercultural education, climate justice and the rights of Indigenous peoples.
Each proposal is developed according to shared goals, the possibilities for collaboration and the priorities of the participating communities and schools.
Companies can support the School by backing both its educational projects and the running and structure of the association behind them.
These contributions help sustain project coordination, teacher training, school exchanges, the creation of teaching materials and the development of initiatives together with Indigenous communities in the Amazon and schools in Catalonia and elsewhere in Spain.
Corporate support makes it possible to diversify funding sources and reduce reliance solely on public grants, helping to ensure the project’s continuity and autonomy.
Partnerships are assessed in the light of each company’s track record and practices, and their consistency with the rights of Indigenous peoples, climate justice, respect for the land and the association’s ethical principles.
One-off donations help develop the educational projects run together with Indigenous communities in the Amazon and the participating schools.
These contributions can support teacher training, the creation of teaching materials, the educational use of digital tools, school exchanges and awareness-raising activities.
Every contribution helps strengthen an educational network based on horizontal cooperation, shared learning and respect for the priorities of the participating communities.
When you make a donation or a monthly contribution, you will receive a receipt by email. The card donation (Stripe) opens in a separate window and PayPal completes the donation in its own window: neither of them allows its payment page to be fully embedded in other websites.
